By land
By road, a 4x4 jeep (private or shared) can go to pick you up from the hotel where you are staying or from Tocumen airport to take you to the Carti terminal in San Blas, which is the only accessible land route that connects Panama with the San Blas Islands.
During the journey (approx. 120 km), which takes approximately 2 hours, you will enjoy the environment of wild forests, a true jungle passing through the region of Kuna Yala.
Once at Carti,you will be collected by the Kunas, who will arrive come in their boat(called a “panca” in the Kuna language). The journey by sea will take approximately 1 hour, during which you will see some of the San Blas Islands until you board the Catamaran that is moored at the Lemon Keys.
We can manage transport from any point in Panama until you are aboard.

Entry fee to the San Blas Region (Kuna Tax): $20/person Tax established by the highest authority in the Kuna Yala area, to benefit the indigenous people, for the development of several programmes and activities, such as conservation and maintenance of the Nusagandi Forest Reserve, considered one of the 10 most important in the world, as well as strengthening and promoting the traditions and culture of the indigenous people.
